For over a decade, Cori has focused her work on helping victims of asbestos-related diseases. Prior to founding Kapusta Deihl & Schweers, Cori oversaw and litigated the asbestos docket for one of Pennsylvania’s largest personal injury law firms. During her career, Cori has seen the devastating effect that asbestos exposure causes to individuals and their families. She has also seen the damage that occurs when corporations put their bottom line ahead of their own employees and the public.
Cori J. Kapusta was drawn to the law because of her genuine desire to help others who have been unjustly wronged. Cori cares deeply about her clients, and this compassion is reflected in her work on their behalf. Cori takes the time to get to know what makes her clients unique and listens closely to their concerns and frustrations about their injuries. Cori combines her caring nature with a deep knowledge of the asbestos industry. She has successfully obtained millions of dollars for her clients due to her familiarity with workplace exposure to asbestos, especially in the steel mills, power stations, and other industrial sites of Western Pennsylvania.
Cori’s efforts on behalf of her clients have gained her admission to the National Trial Lawyers 40 under 40 forum, National Trial Lawyers Top 100 forum and she was awarded the Top 10 Attorney Award in 2018 by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys. She is recognized throughout Pennsylvania as one of the leading asbestos trial lawyers in the state. What makes her most proud, however, is knowing that she has helped make what is often the most difficult time in her clients lives a little bit easier.
A proud mother of two, when Cori is not practicing law, she can be found spending time with her family and friends.
Cori J. Kapusta received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington IN in 1999 and her law degree from Duquesne University in 2003.
